Rotorua will host the prestigious New Zealand Entertainer of the Year awards on October 12, showcasing the talent of the French Family Band, who will be making their debut performance in New Zealand.
The French Family Band, comprised of a Kiwi mother, an Australian father, and their teenage son, will provide an inspiring example of success in Nashville. Their appearance will highlight the event, which is a significant occasion for country music performers.
The Entertainer of the Year awards are highly coveted within the country music community. Competitors earn their place by securing a “ticket” through victories at one of six New Zealand Country Music Association-affiliated events held across the North Island throughout the year.
This year’s event will feature 26 finalists competing across five categories: junior, intermediate, senior, veteran, and songwriting. The awards promise to celebrate the best of New Zealand’s country music talent.
