Shaboozey’s hit single “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” has surpassed Carrie Underwood’s 2006 classic Jesus, Take the Wheel on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart, holding the No. 1 spot for an impressive seven weeks, according to Billboard.
Recently crowned Billboard’s Song of the Summer, “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” has also dominated the Hot Country Songs chart for 13 consecutive weeks.
Shaboozey’s success has earned him two CMA Awards nominations, including New Artist of the Year and Single of the Year. On social media platform X, the artist expressed his gratitude, saying, “Wrote a song about winning a CMA in 2016, and now I’m nominated for 2! What an honor would be an understatement.”
