Trudi Lalor, a prominent figure in Ireland’s Country Music scene, remains deeply connected to her roots in Laois despite her current residence in Tipperary. Lalor, who has achieved considerable success in her career, continues to champion her hometown while thriving in the spotlight.
Though she now resides just outside Cashel, Tipperary, with her husband Billy Morrissey—who is also her manager and promoter—Laois holds a special place in her heart. Lalor frequently returns to Laois to visit her 85-year-old father, Paddy, as well as family and friends. She is also actively involved in local Laois projects.
“Even after 23 years living in Tipperary, I still call Laois home,” Lalor stated. Her enduring connection to Laois underscores her commitment to her origins and the community that has supported her throughout her illustrious career.
