The Ridin’ Hearts Festival is taking its commitment to country music a step further with the launch of a new initiative aimed at nurturing emerging talent. In partnership with Frontier Touring, the festival introduces “Ridin’ Starts,” a program designed to support and elevate undiscovered country artists in Australia.
Ridin’ Starts seeks to open doors for local musicians by connecting them with influential figures in the country music industry and offering exclusive opportunities. The program will culminate in one lucky artist performing a 20-minute set at this year’s Ridin’ Hearts Festival in the Lone Spur Tent.
In addition to the performance opportunity, the winner will benefit from one-on-one meetings with prominent industry professionals, including Michael Chugg of Chugg Entertainment and Chugg Music, Casey Barnes, songwriter Lindsay Rimes, Natalie Waller of ABC Music, and representatives from Universal Music Australia.
Other rewards include custom merchandise designed with Love Police, professional press shots, a content package showcasing the artist’s journey, a tour pass to see major country music acts, and travel and accommodation covered by APRA AMCOS.
Artists interested in participating can apply by posting a video of their original song performance on Facebook or Instagram, tagging the Ridin’ Hearts festival account, and completing the entry form on the festival’s Competition page.
