Country music star Joshua Ray Walker remains resolute in his commitment to music despite recent challenges. Following the news that cancer has spread to his lungs, Walker has shared updates about his health and upcoming surgery with his fans. He is scheduled for a lung biopsy and has been documenting his journey on social media.
In a video posted Tuesday, Walker expressed his determination to continue working on his music before his surgery. “I go into surgery in two days, and I’m going to be out of commission for a while,” he said. “I don’t know how the surgery or radiation will affect my voice, so I’m trying to get as much done as I can before Thursday. So, I’m here in the studio, working on some new songs.”
Walker’s post included a caption that underscores his unwavering passion for his craft: “As long as I’m here, I’m making music. Can’t stop me. I’ll be out of commission after this surgery, but I’ll be back to check in asap.”
