Kylie Minogue has unveiled plans for her 2025 tour alongside the announcement of her upcoming album, Tension II. The Australian pop icon shared the news on Instagram on Thursday, revealing that the album will be released on October 18, featuring nine new tracks.
“LOVERS …. TENSION II … The sequel with NINE new tracks will be yours on October 18th!” the 56-year-old singer wrote.
The lead single from the album, titled “Lights, Camera, Action,” is set to debut on September 27. Tension II serves as a follow-up to her September 2023 release, Tension, which included popular tracks such as “Padam Padam” and “Things We Do for Love.”
In addition to the album announcement, Minogue confirmed her upcoming Tension Tour, expressing her excitement about the extensive planning involved. “TENSION TOUR. You have no idea how hard it has been to keep all the planning and preparation from you. But it’s time and I. CAN’T. WAIT!” she exclaimed.
The tour will kick off on February 15 in Perth, Australia, featuring a series of performances across the country. Following her Australian dates, Kylie will take the tour to Asia, with stops planned in Bangkok, Tokyo, Kaohsiung, and Manila.
In May, she will embark on a UK tour, beginning in Glasgow on May 16 and including shows in cities such as Manchester, London, Liverpool, and Birmingham, concluding in Birmingham on May 31.
