Gwen Stefani is set to make her mark in the country music scene, embracing the genre with her upcoming album, Bouquet. This release marks her first full album in over eight years, excluding her 2017 Christmas compilation.
Scheduled for release on November 15 through Interscope Records/Universal Music Group, Bouquet features the previously released single “Purple Irises,” a collaboration with her husband, Blake Shelton. Stefani has now unveiled a second single titled “Somebody Else’s,” which showcases her unique blend of retro ’70s rock influences within a contemporary country sound.
Produced by award-winning Scott Hendricks and recorded with a full live band at Smoakstack Studios, “Somebody Else’s” highlights Stefani’s distinctive vocals against a backdrop of lively instrumentation. As the No Doubt frontwoman steps into this new musical chapter, fans are eager to see how she integrates her pop-rock roots into the thriving country genre.
