Usher Addresses Speculation Surrounding Deleted X Account

by Patria

Usher has clarified the situation regarding the disappearance of his posts on X (formerly Twitter), attributing it to a hacking incident. In a recent post, the “My Boo” singer stated, “Account got hacked and damn y’all ran with it!”

Fans expressed confusion after Usher’s entire account history vanished just days after his close friend and mentor, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, was arrested and charged with sex trafficking. By Sunday, all tweets, media, and replies from Usher’s account had disappeared.

The timing raised questions among fans, particularly as Usher is currently in the midst of his highly anticipated Past, Present, Future tour. Speculation about his relationship with Combs has intensified in light of the allegations against the Bad Boy Records founder.

While Usher has not been implicated in any wrongdoing, he and rapper Ne-Yo were mentioned as witnesses in a lawsuit filed by Dawn Richard against Combs, which includes allegations of physical abuse towards singer Cassie Ventura.

Usher has a long history with Combs, having lived with him in New York during the 1990s when he was around 14 or 15 years old to learn more about the music industry. In a 2004 interview with Rolling Stone, he recalled the chaotic atmosphere of that time, saying, “There were always girls around… You’d open a door and see somebody doing it, or several people in a room having an orgy. You never knew what was going to happen.”
