The CMAA Academy of Country Music, a renowned launching pad for many of today’s biggest stars, has opened applications for its 2025 Senior Course. This prestigious program will welcome over 25 aspiring artists from Australia, the US, and beyond to embark on a transformative journey in the heart of Australia’s Country Music Capital.
Set to take place from January 6-17, just prior to the Tamworth Country Music Festival, the 12-day immersive experience will provide students with the unique opportunity to hone their skills while connecting with industry experts and fellow musicians.
Academy Director Lyn Bowtell emphasized the profound impact of the Academy experience, stating that it is life-changing for all participants. The program is geared toward emerging artists, songwriters, and musicians aged 18 and older who are dedicated to advancing their careers in country music. Applicants should exhibit a strong passion for the genre and a commitment to refining their craft.
