Five-time Grammy winner Shania Twain is set to host the second People’s Choice Country Awards this Thursday, September 26, at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House. This event marks a poignant return for Twain, who reflects on her own journey as a new recording artist in Nashville.

“It’s a really full-circle experience for me,” Twain told Billboard. “It takes me back to my own beginnings in Nashville, and obviously the historic location is always appealing. I meet new artists, and I’m running into old friends, making new friends.”

The awards show will feature a diverse lineup of nominees, including Beyoncé, Kane Brown, Zach Bryan, Jelly Roll, Tim McGraw, Dolly Parton, Shaboozey, George Strait, Lainey Wilson, and Bailey Zimmerman. Notable moments to watch for include Miranda Lambert receiving the 2024 Country Icon Award and Kane Brown being honored with the 2024 Country Champion Award.
