Country singer Aaron Watson expressed deep gratitude for his mother amidst her ongoing health battle, taking to social media to share an emotional moment at her bedside. In an Instagram post, Watson shared a close-up photo of his hand holding hers and revealed, “We almost lost mom on Sunday.”
Reflecting on the experience, Watson wrote, “I’ve always cherished her, but I held her hand differently today, and I listened differently to her voice.” He shared that while his mother is still recovering, she is currently stable. “Being with her felt like a dream come true, truly an answered prayer,” he added.
The singer of “When I See You” extended his thanks to fans for their prayers and kind messages, teasing that he has touching stories to share about this challenging time. He urged his followers to prioritize family, stating, “Do me a favor this evening. Unless you’re calling a loved one, turn off your phones and your TV and love on your family.”
Watson first hinted at his mother’s health challenges over the weekend, asking fans to “keep mom in your prayers” as his family navigated a “hard day.”
