Brad Paisley Returns to His Roots with New Single “Truck Still Works”

by Barbara

Brad Paisley embraces his musical roots with the release of his latest single, “Truck Still Works.” The West Virginia native’s new track marks a significant moment in his career, following a 19-month transition from Sony’s Arista to Universal Nashville’s EMI label. It has been nearly eight years since Paisley, who has sold 10 million albums, released a full-length project.

Co-written by Paisley alongside Chris Dubois, Will Bundy, Hunter Phelps, and Rodney Clawson, and produced by Luke Wooten and Paisley himself, the single heralds the arrival of an upcoming album.

In a recent interview, the 29-time Academy of Country Music and Country Music Association award winner humorously reflected on his career revival in 2024, stating, “It’s fun to hide from fame or care more about the well-being of a community, but eventually, you do have to face — and now, engage with — the body of work you’ve created.”
