The American Music Awards (AMAs) is set to celebrate its 50th anniversary with an impressive lineup of performers, including Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, Mariah Carey, Brad Paisley, Green Day, and Kane Brown. CBS, in collaboration with Dick Clark Productions, announced the star-studded roster for the milestone event.
Scheduled to air as a two-hour special, the AMAs 50th Anniversary will also feature performances by Jennifer Hudson, RAYE, and K-pop sensation Stray Kids. Notable appearances will include Carrie Underwood, Gloria Estefan, and Jennifer Lopez, alongside a special appearance by Jimmy Kimmel. Additional performers and guest stars are expected to be revealed in the coming days.
Brad Paisley, a two-time AMA winner, will pay tribute to the late Charley Pride, the first recipient of the AMA for Country Male and Country Album, while also showcasing his latest single. Meanwhile, Chaka Khan will celebrate the achievements of female artists over the past five decades with a special rendition of her iconic hit, “I Am Every Woman.”
