In honor of Country Music Month, Amazon Music is rolling out a robust lineup of exclusive content centered around its flagship playlist, “Bonfire.” Throughout October, fans can look forward to new livestreams, original releases, and videos featuring popular artists such as Dylan Gossett, Jelly Roll, Kacey Musgraves, Lainey Wilson, Leon Bridges, Nate Smith, and more.
The celebration kicks off on Thursday, Oct. 3, at 6 p.m. PT with a livestream of Breakthrough Artist Nate Smith’s performance on City Sessions in Los Angeles. The intimate performance will feature songs from his new album California Gold, along with fan favorites. The event is part of Amazon Music’s exclusive series of live performances from global locations.
On Oct. 11, Amazon Music will release a video-on-demand of Kacey Musgraves’ recent concert at Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena, part of her Deeper Well World Tour. Originally broadcast live earlier this month, the concert featured performances of hits like “Cardinal,” “Jade Green,” “Rainbow,” and “Architect,” and included special appearances by Father John Misty and GRAMMY-winning trio Nickel Creek. The full concert will be available exclusively on Prime Video.
Jelly Roll is set to kick off the third season of Amazon Music Live on Oct. 17, in support of his upcoming album Beautifully Broken. Both Jelly Roll and Nate Smith’s performances will stream on Prime Video and the Amazon Music channel on Twitch.
To further celebrate the genre, Amazon Music will debut new Amazon Music Originals. On Oct. 4, Dylan Gossett will release a cover of Bob Dylan’s classic “Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right.” Later in the month, Lainey Wilson will release her new song “Love & Learn” on Oct. 25, co-written with Caitlyn Smith and Lee Thomas Miller, exclusively on Amazon Music.
The month-long celebration will conclude with the release of a new episode of Songline, Amazon Music’s docu-performance series. The Oct. 25 episode will feature Leon Bridges performing songs from his reflective new album Leon, along with insights into his songwriting process.
“‘Bonfire’ allows us to reach a wider, more diverse music audience,” says Emily Cohen Belote, Lead Music Curator at Amazon Music. “This mood-based, genre-blending playlist sits at the intersection of country, indie, and alternative, showing how these genres belong together.”
Amazon Music’s curated content and exclusive performances will provide fans with an immersive experience celebrating the heart and soul of country music.
