Following a record-breaking concert weekend at Neyland Stadium, East Tennessee native Morgan Wallen has announced a significant contribution of $500,000 to support relief efforts after Hurricane Helene.
The donation, confirmed by officials from the Red Cross, comes through the Morgan Wallen Foundation. “We can’t thank Morgan Wallen enough for his heart and generous $500,000 donation to impact help on the ground now in the areas affected by Hurricane Helene, including his beloved East Tennessee,” stated Trevor Riggin, National President for Humanitarian Services at the Red Cross.
Born in Sneedville and raised in Knox County, Wallen has a deep connection to his community. Prior to his two Neyland Stadium concerts, his foundation had already donated $140,000 to Gibbs Youth Sports for the renovation of Gibbs Ruritan Park. In 2023, Wallen also contributed $35,000 to Gibbs High School to support its baseball and music programs and performed a free concert at the school.
