Keith Urban’s latest album, High, has debuted at No. 10 on the Top Country Albums Chart, marking the country star’s 11th top 10 album. Reflecting on his career milestone, Urban told Billboard, “I love making music, and I’m as passionate about it as when I started.”
Urban’s journey on the Top Country Albums chart began in 2000 with his self-titled debut album. He achieved his first Top 10 hit with Golden Road in 2003 and scored his first No. 1 with Be Here in 2004. High continues Urban’s successful streak, with its lead single “Messed Up As Me” climbing to No. 24 on the Hot Country Songs chart and No. 17 on the Country Airplay chart.
Urban attributes his longevity to his constant pursuit of new ideas. “I love discovering new things,” he said. “That, blended with my own influences and life experiences, is what comes out when I go into a writing room or the studio. I see each day as brand-new.”
