Ocean City came alive with the sounds of country music this weekend as fans flocked to the two-day Country’s Calling festival, donning their cowboy hats and boots in true festival spirit.

Attendees were treated to performances by major artists, including Eric Church, Jelly Roll, and Lainey Wilson, among others.

Local residents Olivia and Isabel Wachter shared their enthusiasm for the genre, noting its ability to foster joy and connection. “Country music is what brings a lot of people together. We like to sing it loud,” Isabel said.

Mother-daughter duo Michelle and Emily Knopp chose to bike to the festival to avoid parking challenges, emphasizing the event’s accessibility. “We can just jump on our bikes. It is just beautiful,” Michelle remarked, adding that the warmth and kindness of the crowd enhanced their experience.

As gates opened for ticket holders at noon, the crowd swelled throughout the afternoon and evening, creating an electrifying atmosphere.
