Jake Worthington, a rising star among country music’s new wave of traditionalists, has found a new home under Miranda Lambert’s wing. Known for his fresh take on ’90s country, Worthington joins Lambert’s Big Loud Texas label, part of Big Loud Records’ imprint launched by Lambert and Jon Randall.
Worthington, who released his self-titled album in 2023 under Big Loud Records, was already making waves. However, with mainstream heavyweights like Morgan Wallen and HARDY dominating the roster, it was easy for emerging talents to be overshadowed. Big Loud Texas offers Worthington a new platform, positioning him for an anticipated album release.
The signing was announced at a MuttNation benefit concert on October 5, where Lambert shared the news with fans in Nashville. Worthington becomes the second artist on Big Loud Texas, joining fellow traditionalist Dylan Gossett. The announcement also follows Worthington’s duet with Lambert on the cheekily titled track “Hello Shitty Day.”
