Four prominent country music stars are set to host a benefit concert at Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium this month, with all proceeds directed toward hurricane relief efforts across the Carolinas. The event, titled “Concert for Carolina,” will take place on Saturday, October 26, featuring a lineup that includes Luke Combs, James Taylor, Billy Strings, and Eric Church.
Ticket sales will launch on Thursday, and 100% of the proceeds will support those affected by recent hurricanes. The concert will be emceed by ESPN’s Marty Smith and Barstool Sports’ Caleb Pressley, with additional artists yet to be announced.
All four headliners have strong ties to North Carolina; Combs hails from Asheville, Church from Granite Falls, and Taylor from Chapel Hill. Although Billy Strings is originally from Michigan, he has performed extensively in North Carolina and acknowledges the profound impact the state has had on his life and career.
For those unable to attend but wishing to contribute, donations can be made to the North Carolina Community Foundation Disaster Relief Fund or through various organizations listed at www.concertforcarolina.com.
