Keith Urban has marked a significant milestone in his career, landing his 11th Top 10 album on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart with his latest release, High. The album debuted at No. 10 on the chart dated October 5.
In the tracking week ending September 26, High garnered 17,000 equivalent album units and sold 12,000 copies in the United States, according to Luminate. The album also made waves on the all-genre Top Album Sales chart, where it debuted at No. 6.
“I love making music, and I’m as passionate about that as I was when I started,” Urban stated in an interview with Billboard. He emphasized his enthusiasm for the creative process, saying, “I love discovering new things. That, blended with my own well of influences and life experiences, is what comes out when I go into a writing room or the studio or even when I play live. I have a ‘beginner’s mind,’ so I see each day as brand-new.”
