Conor McGregor, UFC champion turned entrepreneur, continues his foray into the music industry with the launch of Greenback Records, and he’s bringing hip-hop heavyweight Xzibit along for the ride. Xzibit, known for his iconic collaborations and impact on hip-hop, joins Greenback’s lineup alongside rap legends Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.

Xzibit’s first release with Greenback Records, titled “Play This At My Funeral,” drops on October 11, 2024. The single is part of his upcoming album KINGMAKER, marking his first solo studio release in over a decade. This project promises to reintroduce fans to Xzibit’s unmistakable style and growth as an artist.

Xzibit first rose to mainstream fame with his unforgettable guest verse on Snoop Dogg’s “B*tch Please,” produced by Dr. Dre. This track paved the way for his participation in the legendary Up In Smoke tour, where he shared the stage with hip-hop icons like Ice Cube, Eminem, and Snoop Dogg. Reflecting on this career-defining tour, Xzibit recalls, “That tour was a turning point in my career. I was rocking capacity crowds in arenas across the world, and everyone was feeling what I brought to the table.”

After the tour, Xzibit solidified his position in the music industry with the Dre-produced Platinum album Restless and a series of high-profile collaborations with Eminem, Nate Dogg, and Busta Rhymes. Beyond music, Xzibit expanded his career into acting, with roles in films like Gridiron Gang and appearances on shows like CSI: Miami and Empire.

The upcoming album KINGMAKER, executive produced by Xzibit, reflects his journey over the years while staying true to his hip-hop roots.

McGregor, now 36, is expanding his empire with Greenback Records. Known for his ventures in spirits with Proper No. Twelve whiskey and Forged Irish Stout, he recently made his acting debut in the Road House remake, which has reached over 50 million viewers worldwide. With the addition of Xzibit to his label, McGregor’s latest move aims to leave a mark in the world of hip-hop.
