The Wiggles, beloved for their iconic Big Red Car, are now cruising into country rock with their latest single, Big Red Ute. This fresh take showcases a new side of the children’s music group as they embrace a country sound. In honor of their musical evolution, The Wiggles will make their debut at the 2025 Tamworth Country Music Festival, performing on January 21 at the AELEC (Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre).
“Big Red Ute is a playful nod to our original Big Red Car, but with a country rock twist perfect for kids and parents alike,” said Anthony Wiggle. He described how the song celebrates everyday details like electric windows and engine sounds, turning them into adventures for young listeners.
“It’s all about those little wonders kids notice – things we adults sometimes take for granted,” Anthony added. “We’re excited to bring this song to life onstage at Tamworth, where families can sing and dance together.”
