Southern rock legends Van Zant have released the music video for their latest single, “Speak His Name,” from their forthcoming album Always Look Up. Set to drop on November 22 via Frontiers Music SRL, this marks the band’s first new album in nearly two decades and their debut into Christian music, while staying true to their signature southern rock style. The album will be available on CD, vinyl, and streaming platforms.
Brothers Donnie and Johnny Van Zant are carrying forward the family’s storied musical legacy. Donnie co-founded .38 Special, while Johnny has been the lead vocalist for Lynyrd Skynyrd following the passing of their brother, Ronnie Van Zant, the original frontman of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band.
Though the brothers have long dominated the southern rock and country music scenes, they have always emphasized their faith. With Always Look Up, they are now embracing that side more publicly, bringing their inspirational message to fans through their music.
