Swiss/German modern metal band Ad Infinitum has unveiled their new single, “Follow Me Down,” just a day before the release of their highly anticipated album, Abyss, set to drop on October 11 via Napalm Records. This track features compelling riffs that showcase the band’s technical skill and memorable hooks.
Since their formation in 2018, Ad Infinitum has released three well-received studio albums, earning a dedicated following with their grandiose and expansive songwriting. With Abyss, the band aims to elevate their sound, solidifying their position as one of the most promising names in modern metal.
Frontwoman Melissa Bonny is known for her dynamic musical collaborations, having lent her voice to various projects, including bands like Kamelot, Feuerschwanz, and dArtagnan. Following the album release, Ad Infinitum will support Kamelot on tour, joined by Frozen Crown and Blackbriar. In early 2025, they will embark on another European tour with folk metal legends Eluveitie and labelmates Infected Rain.
Regarding “Follow Me Down,” the band expressed their excitement: “Abyss is just around the corner, and we’ve got one more treat before the big day, which we are excited to share: ‘Follow Me Down’ – an energetic song that will have its debut on stage!”
