Mexico Metal Fest Postponed; Special Concert Planned for Saturday

by Barbara

The 2024 edition of the Mexico Metal Fest has been postponed, prompting organizers to act swiftly to arrange a special day-long concert this Saturday featuring several bands from the original lineup.

Originally, the festival was set to headline legendary acts King Diamond and KK’s Priest, alongside performances from notable bands such as Belphegor, Napalm Death, Lucifer, Krisiun, Kataklysm, and Mortiis. The event was scheduled to take place at Expo Guadalupe in Monterrey, Nuevo León.

In a statement regarding the postponement, organizers cited “unfavorable circumstances,” clarifying that these issues were unrelated to the invited artists or the festival’s organizing team. Fans can look forward to the special concert this Saturday, where some of their favorite acts will still be showcased.
