Attendees at the Levitate Flannel Jam in Marshfield, Massachusetts, were treated to an unexpected performance when country music star Zach Bryan took the stage unannounced.
The 28-year-old artist, best known for his hit “Something in the Orange,” joined the band Trampled by Turtles at 6:30 p.m. on the Hoot Stage. Bryan was not listed among the performers at the annual fall festival, which primarily features bluegrass, jam, folk, and Americana acts across two stages.
The festival, which began at noon on October 12, offered fairgoers fall-themed food and beverages, as well as crafts and other creative vendors. Tickets for the event started at $79.
During his set, Bryan expressed his admiration for Trampled by Turtles, saying, “This is one of the best bands in the world.” He revealed that he’s been a fan of the band, which has headlined the Flannel Jam since 2019, since he was 18 years old.
Bryan performed several songs with the band, including his own track “Revival.” As he raised a beer towards the audience, he offered a heartfelt, “Cheers guys, we love you,” before leaving the stage.
