Gramps Morgan, known for his unique blend of country music and reggae, recently shared the stage with some of country music’s biggest names. He performed at a nationally televised tribute to country legend Dean Dillon in Huntsville, Alabama.
During a photo shoot at the event, Morgan had the chance to meet country music icon George Strait. Reflecting on the encounter, Morgan said, “It was an incredible pleasure to meet this country music legend. Known as King George, he has had a profound impact on music, especially on the islands and my own life over the years. At 72, hearing him sing during soundcheck blew my mind. It just goes to show that you can pursue what you love for a lifetime.”
