Rising hip-hop artist Big Naughty has joined forces with established emcee Kid Milli for their collaborative EP titled +. This project represents an exciting fusion of new talent and seasoned experience within the Korean hip-hop scene.
+ showcases a variety of musical styles, combining Big Naughty’s melodic flair with Kid Milli’s sharp, distinctive rap style. The EP features seven tracks, including notable singles such as “High Fashion” and “Downtown.” Other standout songs include “Jab,” “Link in Bio,” “Freestylin’,” “MMM,” and “Revenge Season,” featuring Chillin Homie, all of which highlight the duo’s strong musical chemistry and creativity.
The lead single, “High Fashion,” offers a nostalgic sound reminiscent of the early 2000s, driven by groovy bass lines that perfectly complement both artists’ trendy and sophisticated rap styles. This retro vibe serves as a refreshing contrast to the current K-hop trend focusing on Drill music.
Accompanying the album’s release, the music video for “Downtown” features cameos from popular hip-hop artists such as GroovyRoom’s Hwimin and Coogie. Additionally, the track “Freestylin’” was pre-released with its own music video, quickly rising to prominence on YouTube’s trending music charts.
Big Naughty has had an eventful year, previously releasing the single “Summer” featuring NCT’s Mark earlier in 2024. He has also been actively engaged in songwriting, composing, and collaborating with other artists, further solidifying his status in the Korean music industry. The partnership with Kid Milli on + marks yet another significant milestone in Big Naughty’s rapidly ascending career.
