Fast-rising songwriter Jesse Welles, known for his sharp social critiques and raw acoustic style, has announced a new set of tour dates for 2025. Dubbed the “Fear Is The Mind Killer” tour, this expansion follows the overwhelming success of his initial limited-run shows, which sold out almost immediately.
Welles, who transitioned from fronting rock bands to delivering hard-hitting acoustic performances, has gained a reputation as a “warrior poet” and a “poet laureate of the apocalypse.” His songs tackle contemporary issues such as the War in Gaza, the fentanyl crisis, and modern slavery, interweaving biting sarcasm with poignant insights. His rough, raspy voice adds a haunting quality to his lyrics, making his critiques of current events all the more compelling.
After building a substantial following through semi-viral social media videos, Welles compiled his powerful observations into his latest album, Hells Welles. The album’s success led him to test his audience with a small tour, which exceeded expectations as fans filled venues across the country.
To meet the rising demand, Welles has now scheduled a broader tour for 2025. Pre-sale tickets for the “Fear Is The Mind Killer” tour are available starting October 16 at 10 a.m. local time, with general sales opening on October 18 at the same time. Fans are encouraged to act quickly, as these dates are expected to sell out just as fast as the last round.
