Guitarist Jake E. Lee, known for his work with Ozzy Osbourne and as the founder of bands Badlands and Red Dragon Cartel, was shot multiple times early Tuesday morning in Las Vegas while walking his dog.

According to Lee’s management, the shooting is under investigation, but authorities believe it to be a “completely random” act. The incident occurred in the 11000 block of Alora Street, located in the southern part of the city.

Lee, 67, is currently in intensive care but is “fully conscious and doing well,” with management stating that he is expected to make a full recovery.

The Las Vegas Police Department reported that officers responded to the scene and found Lee suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.

Lee’s management has requested privacy for the musician and his family during this difficult time, stating that no further comments will be released at this stage.
