The 40 Prado Homeless Services Center in San Luis Obispo was alive with music as Grammy-nominated country artist Steven Cade performed as part of his national “Giving Guitars” tour, aimed at raising funds and awareness for homelessness.

Cade’s visit included a heartfelt concert where he not only entertained but also made a significant impact by donating a guitar to the center. He expressed his hope that this gesture would inspire those facing difficult times.

“It costs money to have an instrument. Some people lose their instruments because they had to pawn them, and then they end up in a homeless shelter,” Cade told KSBY. “We see a lot of hope and restoration in many ways. We’re thankful to be a little part of that.”

Cade will continue his “Giving Guitars” tour with a performance on Sunday at 825 Brewery in Orcutt.
