Gord Bamford, one of Canada’s most celebrated country music artists, is set to take the stage at Mingara Recreation Club on November 1. He will be joined by the Wolfe Brothers and 2022 Toyota Star Maker winner, Max Jackson, who is also the current Golden Guitar Best New Talent recipient.
This concert is part of Bamford’s newly announced Just Gettin’ Started Australian Tour 2024, which includes performances throughout October and November. The tour will feature various outdoor festival appearances alongside his headline shows on Australia’s east coast.
“I’m excited to be teaming up with my good mates, The Wolfe Brothers, for a couple of shows,” Bamford said. “We go back a few years now, and they have been a tremendous support for me in Australia, having me on their tours, and I’ve also done a few shows with them in Canada.”
Next year marks his 25th anniversary in the music industry. Throughout his career, he has released 10 studio albums, achieved 28 top 10 singles, and earned accolades including one platinum album, two gold albums, one platinum single, and seven gold singles in Canada.
With over 100 million streams across 179 countries and five billion global audience impressions on radio, Bamford remains one of Canada’s hardest-working touring artists, performing between 100 to 200 shows a year based on his album release cycle. He now regularly tours Europe in addition to Australia.
