Keith Urban took the stage at the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Saturday night, for a heartfelt tribute to inductee Peter Frampton. Urban brought his guitar and joined Frampton for a lively performance of “Do You Feel Like We Do,” a classic hit from the mid-1970s that remains a fixture in Frampton’s live shows.
Their musical connection dates back to the 1990s, when they first collaborated in Urban’s modest Nashville home, a far cry from the iconic venue. “I was living in an absolutely awful, crap house in a pretty gloomy part of town at the time,” Urban reflected in an interview with Billboard.
Urban was among several country artists paying tribute to the Hall of Fame’s 2024 inductees. Kenny Chesney and Mac McAnally honored the late Jimmy Buffett, who received the Musical Excellence Award during the ceremony, adding to the evening’s celebration of musical legends.
