Lainey Wilson is set to bring even more excitement to the Dallas Cowboys’ Thanksgiving Day game on November 28, as she headlines The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Kickoff Halftime Show during the matchup against the New York Giants.
“It’s an honor to follow in the footsteps of legendary performers like my friend Dolly Parton, The Jonas Brothers, and Reba to kick off The Salvation Army’s iconic Red Kettle Campaign,” Wilson expressed in a statement. “Join me at the Red Kettle this Christmas season because we truly can do more good when we come together to serve those in need in our communities.”
The Red Kettle Campaign is a long-standing fundraising initiative that emphasizes the spirit of giving during the holiday season. For 28 years, the Cowboys have partnered with The Salvation Army to raise awareness and funds for individuals facing financial hardships during this time.
Supporters looking to contribute can donate cash and coins to any Red Kettle nationwide, volunteer at local Salvation Army facilities, or even use Alexa to donate by simply saying, “Alexa, donate to The Salvation Army” and specifying the amount.
