Italy’s parody metal band Nanowar Of Steel has unveiled their latest single, “The Power of Imodium,” alongside an official music video. This release coincides with the announcement of their upcoming live album, XX Years of Steel, set to launch on December 6, 2024, through Napalm Records.
Recorded during their sold-out performance at Alcatraz in Milan in October 2023, where 3,000 fans gathered, this live album marks a significant milestone in the band’s two-decade journey of blending humor with heavy metal. XX Years of Steel features powerful live renditions of 28 original tracks and includes a bonus CD with nine additional songs, featuring two brand-new studio tracks, “Stormwarrior of the Storm” and “HelloWorld.java.” These new songs highlight the band’s distinctive evolution and style.
XX Years of Steel is currently available for pre-order, and fans can stream “The Power of Imodium” on all major platforms. With their signature humor, the song humorously recounts a particularly unpleasant bathroom experience, enhanced by screaming guitars and an infectious sing-along chorus.
