Metallica has officially announced an Australian tour as part of their record-breaking M72 World Tour, set to take place in November 2025. The legendary metal band will perform five shows across Australia and one in New Zealand, marking their first visit to the region in 12 years.
The tour will kick off with a concert at Perth’s Optus Stadium on November 1, followed by performances in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney. Joining Metallica on this leg will be support acts Suicidal Tendencies and Evanescence, both of whom have toured with the band in North America.
This tour supports Metallica’s critically acclaimed 2023 album, “72 Seasons,” which debuted at number one on the ARIA Charts in Australia. The upcoming shows will feature the same dynamic format that fans experienced in the U.S. and Europe, including the innovative ‘Snake Pit’ setup and a variety of VIP packages.
Pre-sale tickets will be available starting Monday, November 4, at 12 PM local time, offering fans the chance to secure their spots for this highly anticipated return.
