The dynamic duo of Yung Trybez and Young D, known globally as Snotty Nose Rez Kids, are bringing their hard-hitting lyrics, protest anthems, and humor to Vernon as part of their North American tour. The Canadian Indigenous hip-hop artists, nominated for both the Polaris Music Prize and Juno Awards, will take the stage at the Vernon & District Performing Arts Centre (VDPAC) on Saturday, November 2, at 7:30 p.m.
This performance is part of the 2024-25 Spotlight Season’s Special Presentations Series. Hailing from the Haisla Nation, Snotty Nose Rez Kids have made a significant mark on the international hip-hop scene with their compelling storytelling and electrifying live shows.
Their concert in Vernon is a highlight of the Red Future Tour, which includes 34 performances across major Canadian and U.S. cities, such as Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg, Ottawa, Montreal, and Toronto, as well as Denver, Salt Lake City, Portland, Minneapolis, Chicago, and New York, running from September to December.
