Antonio Franklin, better known as DJ Clark Kent, a prominent figure in the hip-hop community for four decades, passed away at his home in Greenbrook, New Jersey, on Thursday. He was 58 years old. His wife, Kesha (Vernon) Franklin, confirmed that the cause of death was colon cancer.
DJ Clark Kent was instrumental in shaping the careers of numerous leading rappers, including Jay-Z and Notorious B.I.G. His production credits extend to notable artists such as Kanye West, 50 Cent, and Mariah Carey, reflecting his significant influence in the industry.
