Cirque du Soleil is set to return to Baltimore this holiday season with its latest production, Songblazers, a vibrant show celebrating the rich history of country music. Performances will take place at the Hippodrome Theater from December 20 to 29.
Songblazers promises an immersive experience, featuring a diverse array of country hits spanning from 1857 to 2024. Laura-Ann Chong, the show’s senior publicist, highlighted the audience’s opportunity to sing along with beloved classics. “We have songs that everyone can enjoy throughout the show,” she noted.
The production combines these iconic tracks with the breathtaking acrobatics Cirque du Soleil is renowned for, ensuring a dazzling spectacle. “You’re going to be wowed no matter what,” Chong added.
Beyond the stunning performances, the cast aims to connect with the audience on a deeper level through the music. “Country music is a feeling—a soulful inspiration focused on storytelling,” said cast member Ladson. “We hope everyone feels what we are singing and playing out there.”
As excitement builds for the show, attendees can look forward to an unforgettable celebration of country music.
