A thrilling tribute to rock music returns to Harrogate next Wednesday, November 6, as Starling Independent Bar Café Kitchen hosts an event dedicated to Nirvana’s legendary album, Nevermind. Released in September 1991, the album, primarily written by frontman Kurt Cobain, produced four major hits: “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” “Come as You Are,” “Lithium,” and “In Bloom.”

Nevermind is hailed for its profound impact on rock music, reshaping the genre and defining the sound of a generation. Recorded with producer Butch Vig, it marked the Seattle band’s second studio release and has sold nearly 11 million copies in the U.S. alone. However, the album’s immense success marked a fleeting peak for the iconic trio, whose influence continues to resonate today.
