Sioux Falls is gearing up for a major musical event next summer as the Rock the Country – A Festival for We the People tour makes its debut in the city on July 18-19. This two-day festival will showcase a blend of rock and country music, although the specific location and lineup of performers are yet to be announced.
The festival, which selects only ten “small towns” nationwide to feature, will also stop in Louisiana, Tennessee, Missouri, Florida, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arkansas, Kentucky, and South Carolina. Nathan Baugh, CEO of Peachtree Entertainment, emphasized the festival’s commitment to merging exceptional musical talent with the unique charm of small-town America. “We know fans will enjoy a sense of community that only southeastern South Dakota can offer,” he stated.
In addition, the week prior, Sioux Falls will welcome the inaugural Lallycooler Music Festival at Great Bear Ski Valley on July 11-12, with passes already available for purchase.
