Emerging hip-hop talents BabyTron and BLP Kosher are ready to take the stage in Spokane next Friday as part of their tour, “The Adventures of Tron & Kosher.” This highly anticipated performance marks a significant milestone for both artists, who have been gaining traction and viral attention over the past year.
James Edward Johnson, better known as BabyTron, hails from Detroit and discovered his passion for rap at 17, forming the group “Shitty Boyz” with high school friends. While the trio continues to release music sporadically, BabyTron has emerged as a standout artist, recognized for his distinctive style and unconventional, often humorous lyricism that pushes creative boundaries.
Despite their different backgrounds, BabyTron and BLP Kosher share a musical kinship characterized by offbeat lyricism and unapologetic authenticity, making them a complementary duo. The pair collaborated on the single “MazelTron” in March of last year and are now launching their first tour together.
Fans can catch BabyTron and BLP Kosher at the Knitting Factory on Friday, with the show starting at 8 p.m. and doors opening at 7 p.m. This event promises to showcase their unique talents and energize the Spokane hip-hop scene.
