The Recording Academy announced its 2025 Grammy nominations, and breakout star Shaboozey is riding high with five nods, marking a major milestone in his record-shattering year.

The Virginia-born artist’s nominations span multiple genres, highlighted by three nods for his hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” which topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 16 weeks. Recognitions include best country song, best country solo performance, and song of the year. Shaboozey also earned a nomination for best new artist, while his genre-blending collaboration “Spaghettii” with Beyoncé and Linda Martell secured a spot in the best melodic rap performance category. Additionally, a David Guetta remix of “A Bar Song” received a nomination for best remixed recording, though this category honors the remixer, not the original artist.
