Kendrick Lamar is positioning himself for a dominant Grammy run with seven nominations for the 2025 awards. The rapper joins the ranks of Post Malone, Billie Eilish, and Charli XCX, who each earned the same number of nods, trailing behind Beyoncé, who leads the pack with 11 nominations.
Lamar’s track “Not Like Us,” a fiery diss aimed at Drake, became a cultural force after topping the Billboard Hot 100 in June. The song’s success earned it nominations in both the Song and Record of the Year categories, after spending 21 weeks at the top of the rap charts, breaking a record once held by Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road.”
