BLOODSTOCK Festival is once again on the hunt for the UK’s next big metal acts with the launch of its 2025 Metal 2 The Masses (M2TM) grassroots initiative. Following the sell-out of weekend tickets for BLOODSTOCK 2025, the festival is gearing up for another exciting round of regional competitions, aiming to discover fresh talent for its prestigious New Blood Stage.
BLOODSTOCK’s M2TM scheme is widely regarded as one of the most important platforms for emerging metal bands in the UK. The festival’s ongoing commitment to nurturing grassroots talent and supporting local venues earned them the top honor at the Heavy Music Awards this summer, receiving The H Award for their significant positive impact on the heavy music scene.
This year, the M2TM competition will span 31 confirmed regions, with heats taking place across the UK, Cyprus, and Poland, making it the largest M2TM event in the festival’s history. The winner from each regional heat will earn a coveted spot on the New Blood Stage at BLOODSTOCK 2025, in partnership with festival sponsor Timothy Taylor.
