Blake Shelton is set to release his highly anticipated new single, “Texas,” on November 15, marking a fresh chapter in his illustrious country music career. Known for blending authenticity with charm, Shelton’s latest track dives into the familiar theme of lost love, offering a modern spin while nodding to George Strait’s iconic “All My Ex’s Live in Texas.”

“I was immediately struck by how different ‘Texas’ sounded for me, and I’m always looking to push myself,” Shelton explained. “There’s something truly special about this song, and it’s important for me.”

Written by Johnny Clawson, Kyle Sturrock, Josh Dorr, and Lalo Guzman, “Texas” tells the story of a man left heartbroken by a free-spirited woman, pondering if she’s now somewhere in Texas. With its infectious call-and-response style, the track captures the magnetic allure of Texas, offering fans a singalong-worthy anthem. Produced by Shelton’s longtime collaborator Scott Hendricks, “Texas” also marks his debut release with BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville and Wheelhouse Records.

To celebrate the release, Shelton will perform “Texas” on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on November 20, giving fans a chance to hear the song live and enjoy an exclusive interview.
