Oklahoma country music singer Jake Tankersley may not have won his Knockout round on The Voice, but he’s still in the running for Season 26. The Claremore native has advanced to the Playoffs, following a tense and highly competitive Knockout round on the Nov. 11 episode.
Tankersley, who performed first during the season premiere, faced off against two talented singers, Austyn Stancil and Christina Eagle, in the first round of Knockouts. The round marked a significant moment for first-time coach Snoop Dogg, as it became one of the most intense Knockouts in the show’s history. Despite not coming out on top in this round, Tankersley earned his spot in the Playoffs, keeping his dream alive on the NBC singing competition.
