Ridgefield, NJ-based rock quartet Echo Road has released their new single, “Greetings to the Optimist,” marking the launch of their upcoming sophomore album, Gemini. The track, available now, offers a powerful, raw energy that sets the tone for the band’s ambitious concept album, due November 22.
Gemini, a 12-track narrative-driven project, was recorded at Shorefire Studio in Long Branch, NJ, under the guidance of Joe DeMaio (Bon Jovi, Skid Row). The album uses the allegorical tale of Cain and Abel to explore the internal conflict of confronting good and evil within oneself. The mixing and mastering of the album was handled by Tommy McCormick (DMX, The Wonder Years) at Big and Tall Recording, with overdubs completed at William Paterson University Studios.
