BC country music artist Tony Stevens has signed with the renowned Sakamoto Agency, following a standout year that saw his career soar. The deal arrives on the heels of Stevens’ Top 10 hit “Whiskey in Colorado,” which made a significant impact on country radio. The track not only stayed in the Top 10 for four consecutive weeks but also became the 12th most-played Canadian country song of 2024.
This milestone comes as Stevens prepares to release his debut album in spring 2025. His rapid rise has been fueled by impressive achievements, including a Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) nomination for Songwriter of the Year and a finalist spot in SiriusXM’s prestigious Top of the Country competition. With over 4 million streams of “Whiskey in Colorado,” Stevens’ growing fanbase and radio success have captured the attention of Sakamoto Agency President Paul Biro, who was impressed by his recent accomplishments.
The signing marks a major step forward in Stevens’ promising career as he continues to gain recognition on the national stage.
