Rising country music star Megan Moroney is set to take the stage at the 2025 Illinois State Fair on Sunday, August 10. Recently hailed as “Nashville’s newest darling”, Moroney is quickly making a name for herself in country music. The 26-year-old singer-songwriter released her highly anticipated second album, Am I Okay?, in July, which debuted at #9 on the Billboard 200 and earned widespread acclaim.
Moroney’s breakout year continues with multiple nominations at the 58th Annual CMA Awards, where she is up for Female Vocalist of the Year, New Artist of the Year, and Music Video of the Year for her hit “I’m Not Pretty.”
“The Illinois State Fair has a long tradition of showcasing artists early in their careers,” said Illinois Department of Agriculture Director Jerry Costello II. “We’re excited to welcome Megan Moroney to the Grandstand stage. She has a promising future in country music.”
Tickets for the highly anticipated concert will go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. online, with 4,000 Tier 1 tickets available at discounted prices.
